About Me

Hi there! I'm Stuart Carruthers, and I've been on quite an adventure! I was born back in August 1971, and ever since then, I've been exploring all sorts of exciting things.

You see, I studied Marketing and IT in college, and I got pretty good at writing stuff for companies and magazines. But you know what? My absolute favourite thing to do is write stories for kids!

My writing journey has taken me to some amazing places, both real and imaginary. I lived in Taiwan for 15 whole years, and that experience really shaped the way I tell stories. Oh, and I've been to Antarctica too! Can you believe it? It's so cold there, but it's also super inspiring for coming up with new ideas.

When I'm not busy dreaming up adventures for my books, you'll probably find me in the kitchen or on my rowing machine. I love cooking all sorts of yummy dishes and trying out new recipes. And rowing? It's my favourite way to stay fit and focused.

My books are all about magic, wonder, and making you laugh. I hope they fill your heart with joy!
